You can rhyme,
those people,
pretending your a writer.
You say you mean it,
you say that it's all true,
that your writing from your soul.
You can't be.
Writing isn't rhyming,
it isn't the length,
or the words.
It's the feeling,
buried beneath the surface,
the stuff that really matters.
Because rhyming?
That's not writing.
Writing's more.
Deeper.

Rhyming poems are from the soul, I disagree with this poem! But it's good words though!
Haha thank you! And that's good that you disagree; I like sparking discussions! And I mean people who write poems thinking they are writers but who don't write from the soul. There are plenty of people who rhyme in their poems but write beautifully and expressively; Rose is and example! Rhyming is kind of a metaphor for poor, lazy writing, the kind I despise!
